Gather in the Spirit Charismatic prayer group
Day: Monday Time: 6:30 PM When: 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month Leaders: John and Barb Bell (731-3856) Here is what you can expect when you come and join us: Song- We open and close with some of our favorite songs. Sharing- We share our faith with others; learning, discussing and asking questions. Study- We study the Gosples more closely as they apply to the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Guest Speakers- We bring in guest speakers from both our parish and the community to share their thoughts about and experiences with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Prayer- We pray together, sharing our needs and the needs of others. Heavenly Father, I have many thing to offer up to you this day. Please help me deal with my strugggles, my pain. Give me the patience to listen to you. Open up my heart to the Holy Spirit and to the many gifts that you have bestowed upon me. May I listen for your guidance in the soft whispers and feel it in the gentle nudges of everyday life. Help me follow your light when I know it comes from you. Move in me, dear God, that I may see life from your point of view. May my spirit listen to your Spirit in all things. Make me each day more aware of your presence. For this I pray, Amen |
